The Electricity At Work Regulations 1989

These Regulations made under the Health & Safety At Work etc Act 1974 impose duties upon employers, self-employed persons and employees. The Regulations apply to all places of work covered by the Health & Safety At Work Act 1974 and in addition to factory premises, include hospitals, educational establishments, offices, shops and supermarkets etc.

The Regulations are aimed at the users of electrical equipment and as such do not place duties upon manufacturers or suppliers. This course is relevant to all persons who install, maintain or test electrical equipment and appliances.
