The IOSH Managing Safely for Construction Managers course is intended for managers and senior site staff who are required to manage efficiently in compliance with both the organizations safety policy and current health and safety legislation. Understanding of the course material is evaluated by means of a 45 minute written assessment paper and an assessed project. The assessments and projects are sent to IOSH for verification of candidate results.
The certificate is valid for a period of 3 years and can be renewed by attending and passing a further refresher course.

- Controlling risk
- Overview of the law and Health and Safety Management Systems
- Understanding Construction hazards
- Accident investigation
- Measuring performance.
After completion, candidates can apply to CEF for a Manager Assessment in order to attain a Platinum CSR Manager Card. Certain criteria will apply.
