This 3-day certified course is designed to equip individuals with a working understanding of
the EMS audit process and how it should be applied to their own organisation’s EMS. It is practical and interactive, in order to facilitate the delegates’ learning experiences and allow them to exercise their newly acquired skills.
On completion of this course delegates will possess an understanding of:
- Environmental Management Systems
- EMS Auditing
- The principles of auditing
- Environmental legislation and regulation
- Environmental aspects and impacts
- How to obtain and utilise effectively information and advice
Delegates who successfully complete this IRCA certified course (within the three years prior to making an application to become a certified auditor) will satisfy the training requirements for initial certification as an IRCA Environmental Auditor, on condition that they have completed the pre-requisite prior training.
Ideally delegates will have NEBOSH Environmental Certificate qualification or similar, a good working knowledge of BS EN ISO 14001:2015, and Environmental legislation, and have completed a QMS or OH&S lead auditor course.
